Misconception:
Christians are perfect little angels who never sin
Of course, an honest Christian will try to maintain a righteous and holy lifestyle before God but the bible says that we have all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. (Rom 3:23) and if you think you’re not a sinner, you are a liar. (1 John 1:8). It even says our righteousness is like filthy rags (Isa 64:6). All these scriptures show that even in our best efforts we can never measure up to God’s standards and in our humanness, there will always be a vice or weakness that besets us. This is why we cling on to Jesus so much because we understand that without Him we are unworthy of His grace and blessings.
